QUESTION OF COURT’S JURISDICTION.
ARGUMENT AT FULL COURT Plr, Press Association, r WELLINGTON, October 23. The Full Court is hearing further argument, in the case of the New Zealand Waterside "Workers Federation against Mr Justice Frazer and others. Mr O’Regan, for the Federation, continued his argument, contending that the clauses in the award compelling the workers to stand by, were not within the jurisdiction of the Arbitration Court, which had no jurisdiction to regulate the regulations of employer and employee, except during the subsistence of a contract of service. Mr O’Regan contended that the award attempted to do this.
