DEFEATING AGE.
EXPERIMENTS IN PARIS. By Telegraph—Pres* Association—Copyright Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. PARIS, October 13 Lecturing before the Congress of Surgeons on Dr Voronoff’s method of rejuvenating the aged by grafting chimpanzee glands, M. Baudet, an eminent surgeon, said that the results thus far had been extremely encouraging, although it was too early to claim that old age had been vanquished. Unfortunately a continuance of the experiments was limited by the rarity of the special kind of chimpanzee required. As a sequel to the lecture two prominent surgeons were operated on by Dr Voronoff, in the presence of members of the Congress.
