PUSH BIKE BOOM.

TRAM FARES BEING SAA'ED. In an interview with a “ Star’’ representative Air A. G. Britten, the proprietor of the Butler Cycle Works, 605, Colombo Street. endorsed the statements made in au article in this paper last Saturday in reference to the Push Bike Boom due to the result of the high tram tares. Air Britten pointed out that to-day it was immeasurably cheaper to buy a bicycle than to use the trams particularly in view of the Easy Time Payments allowed by the Butler Cycle AYorks lor both new and second-hand machines and particularly in view of the fact that a. new English Alachir.e can now be secured from the Butler Cycle Works for only ten guineas. There was not only the question of cost said Air Britten there was also the greater convenience obtainable bv possessing a bicycle which meant that one could go anywhere at any time without being tied down to a timetable. 713
