OBITUARY.
MRS PHINEAS SELIG. Mrs Kate Selig. wife of Mr Phtneas Selig. late manager of the Christchurch “ Press.” -died this morning at her home 26, Holly Road, alter an illnesdl lasting four months. At one time it was thought tfcat she would recover, but she grew steadily worse and began to sink last night. Mrs Selig was born in Dunedin fiftveight years ago and was the eldest daughter of Mr Louis Mendelssohn, a well-known merchant of that city. She married Mr Selig thirty-three years age and a god portion of her life was been spent in Christchurch. She was interested in all kinds of charity work, and she was a tireless worker in many organisations during the war period. Mrs Selig is survived by her husband and cne daughter, Mrs Oscar Joseph sen.
