The Progress should arrive here on Sunday or early on Monday morning from the north 1o load for Wellington, Nelson and Waikato. The .Tohn will lift cargo here on Monday for Wellington, Wanganui and New Plymquth. The Pukaki will sail for Auckland, via Wellington, to-day. The Wakatu was dispatched for Kai koura and Wellington last evening. The vessel should return here on Monday to again load for the same ports. The Cygnet will load to-dav and sail foKaikoura. Nelson and Motueka. The Orcpuki is due from Wellington on Sunday. Sh© will be docked at Lyttelton for her annual overhauling. Ihe Shaw, Savill and Albion Company’s steamer Zealandic arrived this morning from IS ellington. The Tainui also arrived this morning. The Corinna arrived from Dunedin, via ports, this morning. She will leave for Wellington. Nelson and New Plymouth The Wingatui arrived from Newcastle yesterday morning after a . passage ©f eleven days. The protracted trip was due. it is reported, to a broken piston ring in one of the cylinders. She will sail for Dunedin on Monday. NEW CANADIAN GOVERNMENT SERVICE. Avon mouth, via Panama, is about, to ba inaugurated by the Canadian Government. According to advice received, the Canadian Winner will be the first, vessel to load in the new service, which will be maintained by four 8400-ton cargo steamers.
