SCALDED IN HOSPITAL BATH.
CHILD OF SEVEN LEFT TO HERSELF. Per Press Association. HAMILTON, October 1. Marjory AVeston. aged seven, was badly scalded through falling into a hath in the Waikato Hospital on Friday. and died yesterday. Ihe medical superintendent said it was customary for children to prepare their own baths and under the circumstances he did not think the nurse could be seriously blamed for allowing a . y oi,l ?£i g ,J d to enter the bathroom iwtnout an attendant. The child had gone to the bath with two other girls, ageii fifteen and ten respectively, but they wero out of the room when the accident happened.
