ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES.
MOTOR COLLISION. TVhile riding a motor-cycle on the Sumner Road yesterday afternoon a man named C. Cree, residing at No. 470, Hereford Street, collided with a ' motor-car. He sustained injuries to his right shoulder and was conveyed to the hospital, where, after treatment in the outpatients’ department, he was discharged. FOUND DEAD. Frederick Mahnke, a single man, fifty years of age, was found dead on the roadside near Norwood yesterday. The deceased had not been in illhealth. The body was conveyed to the Christchurch morgue, and an inquest was opened yesterday afternoon by Mr H. Y. Widdoweon, Coroner. After hearing evidence of identification. the Coroner adjourned the in-
ainitiation being made.
