OBITUARY.
REV J. D UMBELL. Phr Press Association - . WELLINGTON, September 29. The death is announced ot the Rev John Dumbed, aged ninety-four. He arrived in New Zealand in 1870, and laboured as a Primitive Methodist minister at New Plymouth, Wellington, Timaru and Dunedin. He retired in 1884, and settled in Wellington. He had two 6ons, of whom John was a well known representative ' Rugby player. His only daughter is the wife of the Hon W. H. Triggs.
