BANKRUPTCY.
MEETING OF CREDITORS. A meeting’ c»C creditors in tbe estate of Tliomas Holland, commission agent. of Tima.ru, who filed a petition in bankruptcy in Timaru on December 12, 1922, was held this afternoon, the. Official Assignee, Mr A. AV. Watters, presiding. The bankruptcy was transferred to Christchurch on February 26, the principal creditors being Christchurch firms. The amount owing to unsecured creditors was set down at £957 3s Sd. Secured creditors were interested to the extent ot £lslO in a house and section, the value of which was estimated at £2150. Bankrupt’s hook debts were estimated to produce £ls, while his furniture was valued -at £33. Bankrupt is a native of Gore, and is a I beneficiary in the estate of liis father, his interest being set down at £IOO. The principal unsecured creditors were: —A. J. White. Ltd.. £160: Watt's. Ltd.. ! £ll3 15s; C. 8. Thomas. £4O: Heath and 1 Co., Ltd.. £234: J. Ballantyne and Co,, Ltd.. £3l : and ShapcoUe and Harding. £32. j The Assignee said that the bankrupt i could not be present owing to ill-health. (Proceeding.)
