(Received June 29, 12.20 p.m.) CAPE TOWN, June 2S. t An ‘up-to-date wool factory was opened at Harrissmith by the Minister of Defence. -j It transpires that the whole of the q. machinery is of German make, and that the factory is under the management of German experts. This is due to tho fact that the lowest British tender was nearly five times greater than the German tender, and rcpicsented a saving of £120,000.
