COLLEGE JUBILEE.
SPECIAL SUPPLEMENT to the “LYTTELTON TIMES.” Tn honour of the jubilee of Canterbury College, a special supplement will be issued with the “Lyttelton Times” to-morrow. The supplement will contain a comprehensive variety of special articles recording the establishment. the development and the success of the .College. At the request of the editor of the “ Lyttelton Times,” Sir Ernest Rutherford, the most brilliant student of the College, who now is Cavendish Professor of Experimental Physics and Director of Cavendish Laboratory at Cambridge University. England, has sent by cable a cordial message congratulating his old College and wishing it continued success. Ex-students iff other lands and in various parts of New Zealand have contributed articles on various phases of their experience at the College. Professor J. Macmillan Brown, Chancellor of the University Senate: Air H. D. Acland, chairman of the College Board of Governors; Dr Chilton, the Rector of the College; and several of the professors, have written valuable articles for the supplement, including a full historical sketch by Dr J. Hight. The supplement will. contain a Roll of Honour, giving the names of College students who made the supreme sacrifice in the Great War; a list of benefactions; a full list of delegates attending tlie, jubilee celebrations; and the programme of events. Subscribers and agents requiring additional copies of the “ Lyt telton Times ” on Saturday should send in their orders to the publishing department without delay.
