M’Conachy, who is one of the finest exponents of the game in the world to-day, is on a tour of New Zealand in order to raise sufficient funds to revisit England and again compete for the world's championship in London at the end of this year. This exhibition at the R.S.A. rooms will probably be the only one at which the public will be able to see Al’Conachy play. At the conclusion of the exhibition he will play two games of snooker and then give an exhibition of trick and fancy shots. Al’Conachy has just completed a very successful tour of the North Island, during which he played a large number of The best players in the various provinces. He only experienced defeat on one occasion, that being at Napier, when he attempted to concede 600 points in a game of 1000 up to Frank Bax, who, besides being a good player, is a good safetytactician. Bax started off with 64 and 48.
