CANTERBURY ASSOCIATION. The fortnightly meeting of the Management Committee of the Canterbury Hockey Association was held last evening; present -—Messrs S. G. Holland (chalrnmn;. 11. Warburton, C. Bellamy. F. Crawford. H Rogers, A. Hasell, 8. Marnier, B. Morris. C. Franklin. H. Lamb. E. W. Smith. 11. Warburton, K. Balchin. W. Jobneton and L. L/ Smith (secretary). It was decided to write to the Technical and St Albans Clubs in reference to tbe colours worn by their players. Tbe work of printing the draw for the season was ieft to Mr E. Cumings. The Canterbury Cricket Association wrote in reference to the association paying for the top-dressing of Hagley Park after hockey each season, and Messrs S. G. Holland and F. Crawford were appointed to wait upon the Cricket Association in reference to the matter. The Ladies Hockey Association wrote forwarding the information that only two ground a would be required at Hagley Park this reason. Letters were received from the New Zealand Hockey Association in reference to the association’s challenge for the shield and the visit of the English team in 1924. The following selectors were appointed:— •Senior grade—Mr H. Throp; junior grade Mr W. C. Bishop: secondary schools. Mr IT. Lamb: primary schools. Messrs L. Smith. A. Haseil and J. Noble. All matches postponed on Saturday last will be played next Saturday.
