Marshal Foch and General Pilsudski have been conferred on military matters on the eve of the Polish military manoeuvres which Marshal Foch will attend. Speaking at a banquet Marshal Foch said: “France will stand by Poland in her national reconstruction, also in the maintenance and enforcement of existing treaties.” He declared that Poland must be able in the event of war to mobilise six hundred thousand men.
