On Thursday next there will appear in the “ Lyttelton “ Times ” the second of six Special Articles on “ Hawaiian Religion,* ’ by Professor J. Macmillan Brown. (The first article was published on Monday. May 7.) The author’s knowledge of the subject is unique, since he is the greatest living authorityon the ethnology of Polynesia. Readers will do well to preserve these Special Articles and keep them together, for they make a true and comprehensive. as well as a fascinating story.
