MAGISTRATE’S COURT.
TO-DAY’S CASES. CHRISTCHURCH. Mr H. Y. Widdo w son. S.M.. presided over the Magistrate's Court this morning. I) RUN KBN N ESS. Edward Daniel Kennedy, a second offender for drunkenness. was fined 20s. in default, three days’ imprisonment, Thos. Patrick >l’Don aid, who also had a previous conviction against him. was fined 20s. A first offending woman was fined the amount of her hail money, £l. Percy Carpenter Turner Burns was convisted and sentenced to one week’s imprisonment- with hard labour for disobedience ol a maintenance order, to be released on payment of £l2. the warrant to be suspended for one week. The application by William Parsons Thompson fora variation of a maintenance order was dismissed. Tho application of Herbert Vigors to cancel a maintenance order was granted. (Proceeding)*
