Captain Fredericks was elected to the Federal Congress on a platform the. chief issue of which was that the United States would join the World Court. Captain Fredericks, in a policy speech, declared that he would riot care to go to Washington unless his constituents endorsed the Court. WASHINGTON. May 2. Mr Samuel Gompers, President of the United States Labour Federation, in a statement, said the American Federation of Labour endorsed the proposal that the United States should join the World Court.
