The committee of the Canterbury Billiard Teague was to have met last Tuesday evening to arrange the draw for the first round of the inter club league competition. The meeting was postponed tor a week, however, to allow the entries of two additional clubs to come before the association. These two clubs announced that they intended to enter teams in the competition, but owing to the fact that there has been no meeting of their executives for some time, nothing has been definitely done in the matter as yet. The league lias already received six entries. Last year the entries numbered ten. r „ handicap snooker tourney at J. attersalls has entered upon its third round.
