In the Assembly, the Minister of Finance announced a revision of the tariff proposals, by which the dumping duty will not exceed 25 ]>er cent freight. The dumping duty would be confined to goods whose value, including freight did not exceed £lO a ton. The Premier announced that be intended to re-enact the clauses in the Profiteering Act. empowering the Board to take action in cases of complaints of manufacturers refusing to supply goods to retailers who sell things under fixed prices.
