A RECORD MAIL.
The above photograph gives readers some idea of the immense mail received by the moving picture editor of the “ Star ” last week in connection with the Constance’s Talmadge “East is West” competition. Every dayla st week hundreds of letters poured into the “Star” Office and the moving picture editor found it necessary to Secure the services of two assistants to go through the replies which came to hand. The letters, which numbered several thousands, were tied up in bundles for photographic purposes and have been kept for reference. The result of the competition was priilted in Monday’s issue of the “ Star.”
