What the Rev. L. A. Knight, of Kaiapoi has to say. The Vicarage, Kaiapoi, March 20th, 1923. The “ ACE ” Motor Agency, Lichfield Street, Christchurch. Dear Sirs, I have much pleasure in informing you that I went for a very delightful extended tour on my “ ACE ” Motor Cycle and Side Car Outfit at Christmas time, when, with a passenger in the Side Car and full camping equipment on board, including tent, fly, camp stretchers, and clothes and food. I covered 830 miles without a forced stop of any kind, and without a puncture, broken chain, or faulty plug. The tour was from Kaiapoi to Springfield, by train to Arthur’s Pass, a'nd from there over the Otira Gorge to the West Coast. I toured the \yest Coast, and finally came back to Canterbury via Nelson. Blenheim and Kaikoura. I was away in all three weeks and two days, and the trip cost me in petrol and oil, only £3 16s. The total weight cn the machine with luggage and passengers amounted to 378 pounds. I may say that the “ ACE ” behaved itself entirely satisfactorily durian the whole trip, and was a perfect delight from the point of view of comfort. I am, Sirs, yours faithfully, (Signed) L. A. KNIGHT. i ‘ACE” MOTOR AGENCY 114 LICHFIELD STREET Sola N.Z. Distributors 3 Victoria Bakery Corner Beeley Avenue sad London Streets, Richmond. Regular delivery. Quality unsurpassed.
