* AUCKLAND SENTENCES. (Per Press Association A AUCKLAND, May 2. In thS Supreme Court the following sentences were imposed : Arthur Leonard Lawrence, breaking and entering, three years’ reformative detention. A youth o.f eighteen whose name was ordered to he suppressed, theft of money from the Union Steamship Company, two years’ probation. Lawrence Mark Chapman, theft from his employers of sums totalling £-'OO over a long period, two years’, reformative detention. Ernest Edward Bacon, pleven charges of breaking and entering at Te Awamutn, six months’ imprisonment. Ted Tai Tai. carnal knowledge at Ruakura. six months’ imprisonment. Edward Victor El com be, forgery, six months’ imprisonment.
