WEDDING.

RICHES—GRAY. On Tuesday, April 24. St Afarv\Church, Geraldine, was the scene of .. wedding, the bride being Aiiss Doris Gray, elder daughter of Mr and Mrs R. A. Gray, Orari Gorge. and the bridegroom Mr Arthur Riches, youngest son of Airs Riches, Woodbury. Tb* Rev Harold Purchaa performed the ceremony and Miss Hughes presided at the organ. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a frock of white crepe de chine embroidered with beads and made with hanging cascade-, of georgette, the low waist being finished with georgette roses and silver leaves. She wore a beautifully embroidered veil, arranged mob eaj fashion and finished with a wreath of orange blossoms. She carvied a bouquet of white flowers and ferns. I'll* bridesmaids were Aliss Phyllis Gray and Aliss Alice Riches. The former wore a pe tailed frock of lemon crepe de chine embroidered in self colours and made with a low waist and hanging • panels. Her hat was of georgette to i match, with heliotrope leaves and : flowers and streamers of silver ribbon. Aliss Riches wore a frock of heliotrope crepe de chine embroidered with beads to ton© and hemstitched panels prettily embroidered. She wore a hat to match, with a lemon rose. Both bridesmaids carried pretty bouqnets of heliotrope flowers and autumn-tinted leaves. MtHenry Riches, brother of the bridegroom. acted as best man. After the ceremony the guests. ielatives of bride and bridegrobm and a few girl friends of the bride were entertained at the Parish Hall. The parents of the bride received the guests. , Airs Gray wore a costume of clerical grey with hat of black velvet, blue and gold brocade and royal blue wiugs. She carried a bouquet of crimson carnations and autumn foliage.
