A conference of trade unionists and representatives of the Australian Labour Party executive, affirmed the principle of executive control of parliamentary representatives of the Labour movement, believing that only through the exercise of such control can the parliamentary caucus be made responsible, maintain contact with the organised workers, and give expression to the principles and policies of the Labour movement.
