FIRES.
A SMALL OUTBREAK. At <3.0 n.m. yesterday ih#> fire brigade received a call to No. <323. Colombo Street, whore a small fire had occurred in the tailoring shop of J. Holland. The blaze was suppressed with die chemical extinguisher before any serious damage was done. The fire was started through a hoi tailor’s oose having been left ou a bench’. The cloth covering of the bench caught fir? and had apparently smouldered ail night. Embers dropping to the floor started a blaze there and led to the discovery of the fire.
