WEDDING.
GLEN—SHAW. A very pretty wedding took place at St Andrew’s Church recently, when Air Raymond Glen, of Barrington Street, Spreydon. was married to Aliss Gladys Gertrude Shaw, second daughter of Mr and Mrs L. Shaw. Leitch Street, Sprevdon. The officiating clergyman was the Rev J. D. AVebster. The bride, wno entered the church cm the arm of her father, wore a charming frock of ivory crepe de chine, with a draped skirt and sleeves of indium lace, richly embroidered with crystal beads, and finished at the waist with ailvez leaves. The long tulle veil was held in place with a , coronet of cire lace and orange bios- ■ soms, and she carried a shower bouquet of pale pink and white hothouse flowers. Air George Cummins was best man. and the groomsman was Air Leonard Glen, brother of the bridegroom. The bride was attended by her sister. Miss Constance Shaw, who - wore a dainty frock of turquoise blue satin, with an overdress of silver radium lace, and completed with silver ribbons. The second bridesmaid wan Aliss Lillian Shaw, who wore a dainty frock of mauve satin with an overdress of mauve radium lace, draped at the sides with gold ribbons and ornaments. Both bridesmaids wore large picture h«t« of black satin and lace trimmed with flowers and streamers to match. Tliev carried shower bouquets of mauve and pink, and wore gold bangles, gifts of the bridegroom. After the ce.emony the guests adjourned to the Caclena. where the wedding breakfast was held Mrs Shaw received her guests nearing a smart nav.v blue costume, wrap and toque an‘d she carried * bunch of the Solwvu Street Hall. • Later Mr and Airs Glen left by motor on their wedding tour, the bride wearing a very smart frock of henna gabardine. embroidered with steel beads and completed with a grey* fiiY*. with a hat to match. j
