SHIPPING NOTES. The John was expected to reach Lyttelton with a load of coke last evening but the vessel was diverted to Dunedin and > not due here until Wednesday. She will load here for "Wellington, Wanganui and New Plymouth. The Orepuki sailed for Wellington, Westport and Greymouth last evening. The Canadian Spinner is at present, die charging Canadian cargo at Auckland. The vessel proceeds from Auckland to Australia and later returns to load for New York and Montreal. The Erroll arrived at Auckland from St John on Thursday. The Opua. from Greymouth. is due on Monday. She should leave Lyttelton on Wednesday for Greymouth, via "Wellington and Westport, with general cargo. The Kauri should complete her loading this afternoon. The vessel will be dispatched for Auckland direct this evening. 'The Whangape was dispatched last evening for Dunedin, where she will complete her discharging of Sydney cargo. The Kahika is due to-morrow from Timaru to load for Wellington, Nelson arid New Plymouth. 'Ph© Wanaka. from Bluff, is due on Wednesday to load for Auckland. The Kamona is due thi® evening from Greymouth with coai. The Ngabere is due here on Monday. The schooner Rira left yesterday afternoon for Napier. The Wootton is due to-day from Wellington. She will sail on the return trip on Monday. . The Wingatui arrived at Auckland on Thursday from Gisbojme. The flaranga will be dispatched from Lyttelton this afternoon, provided rain do©« not delay her.' The Tainui should leave Lyttelton to-day for Port Chalmers. The five-master schooner H. K. Hall is in dock undergoing cleaning, painting and repairing.
