Some of the delavs are due to the late running of the 435 p.m. Christc.hnrch-Waikari or 5.15 p.m. Christchureh-Bangiora trains, and some are due to shunting work. The delays caused by the late running of opposing trains cannot be avoided, but steps will be taken to reduce the shunting delays, and T hope this will remove the cause of complaint.”
