TURKEY DISTRUSTED.
AGREEMENT WITH AMERICA CRITICISED. By Telegraph—Fress Association—Copyright Eeuter's Telegrams. (Received April 12. 1.20 p.m.) LONDON, April 11. Considerable perturbation prevails in Allied, aud particularly French, circles regarding Angara’s acceptance of the Chester agreement, which embraces many kinds of undertakings in and around Armenia, covering also Adana. These imply the suppression of the railway concessions made to France, on the eve of war, against a loan of a milliard lrarics.. oi which half a million wore actually paid. It is suggested in seme-'quarters that tlie Turks are insincere and are aiming at the resumption of freedom of action toward the French and British financial groups.
