SYDNEY ROYAL SHOW.

LOW QUALITY OF EXHIBITS. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received April 11, 9.20 a.m.) SYDNEY April 11. Another New Zealander, Mr D. Buchanan, a well-known cattle breeder, has expressed his disappointment, at the quality of Ayrshire? and Friesians exhibited at tbe Royal Show. He said that lie considered them far below New Zealand standards. These claeses, and similarly the draught horses exhibits, were not comparable with what New Zealand could show, while the light horse breeds bad deteriorated very considerably since he visited Australia twenty years ago, but New Zealand had nothing to crow about in this respect. Breeders seemed to be concentrating on producing an animal of far too light a type. New Zealand could learn a great deal from Sydney in show management.
