Ollivier seemed off colour, his display in both the singles and doubles being far below the form he displayed when he met Anderson in tin. final of the Sydney tournament, recently. In the contest against ClGmenger and Kirkpatrnk, it was expected that Peacock and Ollivier would carry off the honours, but whilst both visitor* disclosed more Scientific snots, the opposing pair keenly disputed every ace and annexed tile second and third sets in a convincing fashion.
