ALL NATIONS FAIR.
A RANGIORA APPEAL. An all nations fair was opened at the Rangiora Drill Hall this moriTThg, the -proceeds from which are to be devoted to the fund being raised by the Angli can Church congregation lor tbe erection of a social hall. Gaily decked stalls, each representative of different nations, stocked with a great variety of articles, were evidence of the enthusiastic work on the part of the ladies of the congregation, and there was also indication that the opposite sex had not been idle. The fair was opened by the Mayor (Mr AY. A. Banks), who commended the vicar (the Rev J. F. Feron) for the good work being done amongst the young people of his church, and wished the congregation success in their efforts to provide a social hall to further that work. The ladies in charge of the stalls had no lack of assistance, and all -were iressed in the costumes of the country heir stalls represented. Good business was done during the afternoon, especially at the refreshment stall, where latronage was increased by country people in for the market.
