At the yearling sale?, a St Alwyne— Celine colt realised 1650 guineas; a Beragoon—Humility colt lOOOgs: a Bowman— Perilla colt lOOOgs; and a Highfield—Lady Babbie colt IOOOgs. On account of Mr lan Duncan, of Waikanae. six yearlings realised 2550g5, the top price being 950 gs for a Boniform—Desmine colt. J- Nelson purchased a Scremond—Blue Stocking colt for 130 gs.
