CONCERT TV GARDENS TO-MORROW. At the Botanical Gardens to-morrow afternoon the Woolston Band, whiefi j reoentlj' won the North Island band contest, will play a programme of music including the contest selection!;. | The Mayor (Dr Thacker) will take- the j opportunity of extending the city's congratulations to the band. A collection will be taken np part of which will go towards the band’s expenses and part towards the formation of a boys’ band.
