ARMED MAN ARRESTED.
WELLINGTON SENSATION. (Psk Press Association-.') WELLINGTON, Marcft 9. Yesterday the police arrested a man named William M’Bain, for whom they had been searching for' some time in connection with charges of the theft ot goods from the Wellington "Woollen Company. The secretary's motor-car was stolen from a passage-way in which it had been left. It was found later at Island Bay. In the care of the New Zealand Express Company, the police j found two neat packages of goods ready to be sent to a certain address. The j contents of the packages proved to be | hil of the missing goods. Together with ; other goods which had not been report- j ed- Their total value is said to "be over j £•200. ! M’Bain. when arrested, had a loaded ■ revolver in his possession. M’Bain was remanded until Wednes- ( day, the Magistrate refusing bail.
