ADDINGTON CLUB. The annual carnival of the Addington Amateur Swiming Club was field tfiis afternoon in good weather and in the presence of a large attendance of spectators. The races attracted good l entries aud the competition in most of the events was close and interesting. During the afternoon a team of girls, under Miss M. Cowley, gave a demonstration of resuscitation and life saving and Mr F. Collins also gave an exhibition. The races resulted as follows: 25yde Addington Schoolboys’ Handicap— First "heat—T.
