SALARIES NOT AFFECTED. Tire journal of the Education Institute states that from an uni in near li able source comes a rumour thaf the education vote next Parliamentary see. smn is to be cut by £30.000. Salaries will not be affected, but the pruning Knife will be applied in various other directions. Jt understands that this is part of a comprehensive scheme of administrative economy intended to cover all the State services.
The journal declares that, if the storv should prove to be true, the session will be an extremely lively one.
