Several of the Mid-Western State Legislatures have passed, or are considering. Bills characterising the saio of intoxicants which cause deafh as murder, and imposing murder or manslaughter sentences upon those, selling them. Oklahoma has already passed a law terming as murder the sale of such things as wood alcohol. Ohio has passed a similar Jaw. making it a crime in the second degree of murder. Kansas and Indiana have Bills pending, pro vidmg murder sentences. lowa has passed a law providing for punishment as for manslaughter, while Michigan lias a similar Bill pending.
