The “ Daily Mail ” states that a remarkable situation may develop out pf y. law action which?has arisen regarding the control of the Conservative Party funds. Lord Fnrquhor. one bf the three trustees in whose control they were vested, has refused to consent to their use by Mr Bonar Law's party. He takes the view that he was trustee for the party of which Mr Austen Chamberlain was 'the leader, and as Mr Chamberlain is not leader of the present party. Lord Fnrquhar declines to part with any money which is required now to meet the expenditure on recent elections. Jt will be remembered that when the rew Parliament met. Mr Chamberlain counselled his followers to .support Air Bonar Law. though he expressed the belief that Coalition with the Liberals would ultimately be necessary.
