CONTROL OF MEMEL
AMBASSADORS’ DECISION. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received January 18. 12.5 p.m.) PARIS. January 17. Hie Ambassadors’ Conference has decided to send to Mernel immediately a commission to create a provisional Government, which under Allied authority will be given the task of restoring order;, after which the Lithuanian Government will be reminded of its grave responsibility, and will be asked to take all practicable means to induce Lithuanian inhabitants of the Alemel area to accept the Commission’s authority.
