FRIDAY’S TOURNAMENT. One of the most interesting lawn tennis oiirnaments ever held in Christchurch will >e played at the United courts on Friday Hid Saturday next, when lady representatives from Auckland. Hawke s Baj , Wellington. Canterbury, Otago. Southland, south Canterbury and the West Coast will •ompete against the New South Wales adies* team, at present on a New Zealand Complete arrangements have been made >y the Canterbury Association, and the tournament courts are in perfect order. ines as the recent New Zealand chainuonships.
