Under normal oonditions high tide a f Sumner and New Brighton occurs approximately at the same time as high tide at Lyttelton. There may be slight, variations due to the direotion of the wind or the occurrence of a flood in the rivers or estuaries. Normally high tides should be registered on the beaches a a follows: To-day: 3*55 a.m. ; 4.21 p.m. To-morrow: 4.47 a.m.; 5.12 p.m.
