The M.C.C. team in the second innings of its match against Natal lost six wickets for 242 runs (Russell 86, Carr 13. Fender 1, Mann 8. Jupp not out. 31). The innings was declared closed. Conyngham took two wickets for 58 rune, and Carter three for 66. Natal in their second innings made 130 (Samuelson 14, Nourse 42. Pearse 30). Gillieati took four wickets for 38 runs.
