WAHINE’S ROUGH TRIP. The ferry steamer Wahine, on leaving Wellington last evening, ran into one of the worst southerly gales that the vessel had experienced for a long time. The weather was exceedingly rough across the Cook Strait, and did not improve until towards th© close of the trip. Mr Whyte, rhe chief steward, said that the run down had been, one of the worst that h© had made on the ferry steamer for many months. The passengers, who numbered about 600, had a bad time, ami he had never known so much seasickness on the trip.
