AUSTRALIA’S NAVY.
PLEA FOR APPRECIATION. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright AustraJian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received January 16. 10.10 a.m.) SYDNEY, January 36. In the course of an interview, Commodore Addison, Commander of the Australian Navy, pleaded for wider appreciation of the Australian Squadron by Australian people. He expressed the hope that the forthcoming Imperial conference would decide on a naval policy. Commodore Addison said it was unfair that men of the squadron should he uncertain as to the future, as such a. feeling hampered them considerably in their work.
