NORTH CANTERBURY ASSOCIATION. NOMADS v. WANGANUI OLD BOYS. R. O. TALBOTS FINE BATTING PERFORMANCE. The Nomad’s Club commenced their annual fixture with Wanganui Old Boys on Thursday on the Spotsvrood jrrouud. The wicket was a- trifle slow, owing to recent rain. The Nomads batted first, and declared their innings at 340 for four wickets (Ashworth 6. Curtis 9, 11. B. Cave 64. Hindmarsh 6, R. O. Talbot 180 not, out and Iv. 11. Cave not out 30.
