It is reported (says Saturday’s “ Otago Daily Times ”) that an information is to be laid against Johi G. Moody, as publisher of the Dunedin ‘ Evening Star,” on the ground that he did, between the issue of the election writ and the close of the poll, publish printed matter “ containing an untrue statement defamatory of Joseph Stephens. Labour candidate for the Chalmers seat, such statement being one calculated to influence the vote of eiucinr. 4 *
