At. the evening service in the Anglican Cathedral vesterdav the Rev Dr Bickersteth preached The Verv Rev Dean Carrington assisted in tl.e service. while Archbishop Julius read the second lesson. Tho preacher took as his sermon St Luke, c hapter 2. verse 37. and dealt with the men of real worth who had lived in past ages.
