Sir Arthur Stanley, chairman of the British Red Cross Society. writing to the Press, points out that Greece, owing to invasion by a million penniless refugees, will become a famine area. Unless immediate help is forthcoming, Greece will, in the opinion of Sir Arthur Stanley, become utterly exhausted. and epidemics will break out The refugees include British subjects from Smyrna.
