RIFLE SHOOTING.

CHRISTCHURCH DEFENCE CLUB. The Christchurch Defence Rifle Club held a competition at Redcliffs on Saturday. The conditions were seven shots at 500yds and seven at GOOyds. Owing to the strong sou’-wester blowing down the range, varying from right to left, the scoring on the whole was not of a high order. Under tho circumstances 0. E.
